Christmas & the Holy Spirit of God

The birth of Jesus is the moment the Invisible God who Created the Universe, became Visible to humans.

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is not seen; for the things that are seen are temporal, and the things that are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)

Christmas is when our Eternal and Invisible God became a Temporary and Visible Human, known as the Incarnation. This was done primarily for deliverance from sin and its consequences – leading to forgiveness and a new life with God and our loved ones who also return home to God.

The dual nature of Jesus – fully God and fully man – was necessary for Him to represent humanity, suffer in our place, and mediate a new covenant for us with His Father.

Christmas began with an event called The Annunciation (Gospel of Luke 1:26-38) where the Archangel Gabriel appeared to a virgin named Mary and told her “she will conceive a child through the Holy Spirit of God and she will give birth to the Son of God.”

Mary’s eventual acceptance, “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word” (Luke 1:38) marks her faith and willingness to follow God’s plan. This was a pivotal moment in Christianity, announcing the coming of the Messiah.

Note that all of this was prophesied in the Old Testament (BC, Before Christ) through such scripture as Isaiah 7:14, where he predicted “Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son.”

How this connects to ThereYouAreJesus.com

The fact that the Virgin Mary conceived the Son of God through the Holy Spirit of God connects with my message which is to “Tell people about the Seven Spirits if you go back to life.”

Here’s how they connect: The Holy Spirit is enabled by the Seven Spirits of God. So, when Mary conceived the Son of God through the Holy Spirit, her conception was achieved by the Seven Spirits of God.

Almost everyone has heard of the Holy Spirit, but far fewer people know that the Holy Spirit originates from “seven individual stars, positioned side by side at the front of God’s throne.” These seven stars are the source for the Seven Spirits of God, and the Seven Spirits are the source for the Holy Spirit of God.

This is my message, and it does not contradict the Bible or challenge our beloved Clergy. Instead, it corroborates what is already written in the Bible – in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. The way it corroborates is with experiential knowledge that can only be gained by personally visiting the Seven Spirits at God’s Throne, seeing them and learning about them, which is exactly what I did – by way of my Grandfather George. This is when he told me, “Now that you have seen, if you go back to life, you should tell people about them.”

The Seven Spirits are not a symbolic footnote in Christianity, they are essential to the Holy Trinity of God: The Father, The Son, and The Seven Spirits of God’s Holy Spirit. Each of the Spirits have names, which are: Knowledge; Understanding; Wisdom; our Lord Jesus Christ; Counsel; Might; and reverent Fear of our Lord.

Here is how each of the Seven Spirits connect with Christmas

The Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ — The Presence of God

The very heart of Christmas is the Spirit of the Lord made flesh. The birth of Jesus is the Incarnation of God’s Son, the Unseen becoming Seen, and the entrance of God’s Holy Spirit into our world as a human being.

The Spirit of Wisdom — Given to Mary

Wisdom enabled Mary to ask the right question – “How can this be?” – without fear of disbelief. Then she could respond with faithful surrender. Wisdom did not remove the mystery; it gave her the spiritual clarity to trust God’s word even when the outcome would change her life forever.

The Spirit of Understanding — Given to Joseph

Understanding allowed Joseph to see beyond appearances and grasp God’s purpose when an angel spoke to him in a dream. What could have destroyed him emotionally became a moment of peace, as the Spirit of Understanding helped him comprehend what God was doing and why obedience mattered.

The Spirit of Counsel — Guiding Both Mary and Joseph

Counsel directed the holy family step by step – when to stay, when to flee, and when to return. Through dreams, warnings, and confirmations, the Spirit of Counsel provided divine guidance that protected God’s plan and kept them on the path prepared for them.

The Spirit of Might — The power of God defending the plan of God

Might was present as God’s invisible strength and protection, shielding the child of God from earthly powers that sought His destruction. This Spirit of Might did not act through violence, but through decisive intervention – angelic warnings, timely escape, and divine preservation of the Messiah.

The Spirit of Knowledge — Revealed Through the Magi

Knowledge revealed truth to the Magi – insight into prophecy, timing, and meaning – allowing them to recognize the star not as a curiosity, but as a divine sign. This Spirit of Knowledge enabled them to discern who the child was, where to find Him, how to respond in worship, and the need to avoid King Herod. The Spirit of Knowledge is not academic; it is divine insight of what God is doing.

The Spirit of Fear of the Lord — Revealed in the Worship of All who Encounter Jesus

The Fear of the Lord awakens reverent awe of our Lord and Savior – Shepherds who hurried to see Him, Magi who bowed before Him, Joseph who obeyed even when his virgin wife became pregnant, and Mary who treasured these things in her heart. This Spirit of Fear produces not terror, not earthly fears, but holy worship and joyful humility before God’s presence. The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom, and Wisdom leads you into a real relationship with the Creator of our universe.

Why This Matters Today

We often think of Christmas as history, but it’s also instruction. The same Holy Spirit that orchestrated the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem, can also orchestrate for you in your life. The same sevenfold river of God’s presence that guided Mary and Joseph, also guides the lives of those who have faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Join the movement to Restore the Seven Spirits of God back into the Mainstream of Christianity – which is right where Scripture put them in the first place: in the Old Testament (BC); and in the New Testament (AD) Click for Details. There are many ways you can help us Restore God’s Seven Spirits, including: Talking about them; Asking about them; Teaching about them; Watching for them; and Making note of their interactions when you encounter them so you can share with others, just like we do on ThereYouAreJesus.com

If you are aware of any Pets that are left out in the cold – please inquire with the owners about providing Warmth, Shelter, Food, and Water for them. The Bible teaches that caring for animals is a righteous act reflecting God’s care for all of His creation, emphasizing stewardship through verses like Proverbs 12:10 “The righteous care for the needs of their animals and their neighbor’s animals.” God shows concern for animals in Luke 12:6 and expects humans, given dominion in Genesis, to act with compassion and provide for them.

Happy Birthday Jesus, and Merry Christmas to us all !!
